Tuesday, Candles and Christmas

Tuesday, October 13, 2009

The weekend flew by. It doesn't seem like Tuesday today. Nope it sure doesn't. Does it to you?

In other news, my mom got me a Yankee Candle gift card for my birthday. I also got a coupon in the mail. They both helped me get two large candles practically for free!!

One smells like a fresh pine forest and the other smells like peppermint. Hubby liked the first one a lot (how lucky am I that my husband loves candles almost as much as I do?!) so that was an easy choice. The second one was also an easy choice because it smells so similar to a candle my mom had while I was growing up - yes I'm a dork and remember stuff like that - I LOVE it!!

I've already lit both of them. Some would say "save them for Christmas" but I'm a Christmas junkie, it can never come too soon. Speaking of Christmas we are detail planning our road trip. I'm so hop scotch excited :)

I guess it feels like Tuesday. I haven't gotten the day mixed up yet, so that's a good sign.

Yay for getting candles! I never liked them growing up, but I find they're necessary to fight off the strange smells apartments seem to emit from their pores.

I love fragrant candles. My all time favorites are the vanilla candles. They are deliciously soothing.
You are right, with stuffs like candles, waiting to light them till Christmas is definitely a big ask. Who knows what new fragrances will be around by then.

Enjoy and have a great time.

Loved my visit to your awesome blog.

Cheers!!
