A room with a view

I'm back. Been back for four days now, just trying to catch up. It amazes me how being gone two days equales to working for four days to catch up. We ended up going to Sanibel Island. It was a lovely place to visit. The gulf was nothing like the Atlantic ocean but was still quite lovely, glad we stayed an extra day.

Having not posted since Mon I have a lot to write. So much so that all my words are jumbled up and fighting each other to get out first. I figure it's safest to not let any of them win. Instead I'm gunna enjoy the evening with my Hubs. I love how vacations bring people together and make them feel even more in love :)

Oh, I've always wanted to go to Sanibel Island. Did you get a lot of seashells there?

Your post came in my Google Sanibel Alerts, that's why I dropped by. :-)

I'm glad you enjoyed visiting Sanibel. I came here for years on vacations and now live here. It's nice you had some special time with your Mom and also made Hubby appreciate you even more too. :-)

Do you prefer the Atlantic coast or the Gulf? I've been to both (Clearwater Beach is my second home!) and I'm a huge fan of the Gulf... but the water in Miami and Ft. Lauderdale especially is the most beautiful shade of blue I've ever seen.
